Novatines

'Wasted Youth' EP Review

Novatines are set to release their debut EP 'Wasted Youth' on 7th February 2020 via all platforms. 'Come Alive' is the first single to be taken from their debut release. The band will also be heading out on a Headline UK tour to coincide with the release of the EP.

'Come Alive' is a fast paced, up tempo and feel good introduction to a band who pulsates with passion, ambition and style.
Novatines are a 4 piece rock band who formed in the winter of 2017. The band immediately made a name for themselves on the UK circuit with their anthemic, high-octane set. Novatines have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe on both headline and support tours, playing alongside the likes of Alabama 3, Arcane Roots, Von Hertzen Brothers, and Sweet.

Although from opposite ends of the country, I get a very old school Cast vibe. It just reminds me of the Liverpudlian's sound.

These guys have been together as a band since 2017, and are definitely making waves in the music world.

This EP is released on February 7th and I am sure that it will be very well received with its infectious feel throughout. TFM gives 'Wasted Youth' a very respectable 4/5. Absolutely ones to watch and check out this latest release on the 7th.

'Come Alive' is an upbeat and lively start to this EP with its infectious sing a long chorus and feel good sound. This is followed by a track called 'Five', and this has a classic 80's rock vibe, great vocals and a strong rock n roll sound.

'The Fear' has a controlled start before a powerful and intense tune is unveiled with a very emotional feel before finally we have 'Wind Up', which is the most pop orientated track I would say. It has that bounce along radio friendly sound both lyrically and musically, but still maintains that underlying rock n roll vibe.
